A Pharmacist provides the patient with medication through the utilization of a modified unit dose system ensuring the patient prompt, efficient, and accurate dispensing of quality medication as ordered by your physician. This is an important part of modern medical treatment.

Please bring a list of the medications that you take at home when you come to the clinic or to the hospital. If you bring medications of your own, please send them home with your family or give them to your nurse. If you give them to the nurse, the medications will be stored and returned to you upon discharge. Inform your physician or nurse of medications you are taking or of any known allergies.

Certain medications given to you in the hospital may be given to you upon discharge. Usually a prescription will be written by your physician and you may take the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.
