Emergency Department
Our physicians deliver 24-hour emergency care. Our emergency room is equipped with advanced technology for superior emergency patient care. The physicians working in our ER are trained in advanced trauma life support. The staff, as a team, ensures safe, efficient emergency care. We have transfer agreements in place to quickly get a patient to more advanced care if the situation requires it.
JMHCC also has eEmergency capabilities. Cameras and monitors are located in both the ER and ICU which are used to communicate with an Avera Health hub located in Sioux Falls. With this technology JMHCC has instant access to Avera's Specialists, such as Neurologists.
