Radiology
Our Imaging Department is one of our most valuable resources at Jacobson Memorial Hospital. Through the use of modern technology we are able to look at health problems in a totally different light. This department is staffed with two full-time registered technologists and one limited x-ray operator.
Radiology (x-ray) is a diagnostic procedure administered by technicians and interpreted by a board eligible radiologist. All x-ray examinations are conducted only upon your physician's orders and the results are reported only to your physician. If radiology is requested for treatment you will be referred to a larger hospital. X-ray films become a part of your medical report.

Tele-Radiology
Radiographic images at Jacobson Memorial Hospital Care Center are now transmitted via internet to St. Alexis Hospital in Bismarck, ND, for a faster reading of the radiographic image. Should you require a copy to take to your physician or for a referral, a computer disk will be provided if the physician is out of our tele-radiology network.
